My Featured FIVE Star Review:
"My experience with Yadah Yahuah was amazing! Khakmah is an outstanding doula who made my most chaotic birthing experience one that I am most proud of. Throughout my pregnancy, she gave amazing advice, support, and reassurance for all of my thoughts, concerns, complications, and birth plan. I didn't have a detailed birth plan with my prior children and she helped me create my ideal birth plan for my last baby. I really wanted to have my sixth and last baby without epidural and Khakmah provided me with tips to help labor along and provide comfort during a natural birth. However, my birth plan did not work out, I did not make it to the hospital I was expecting to give birth at in time and had to go to Cape Fear ER instead. My labor was very quick and my son came before Khakmah and my husband could get to the hospital. My water broke and my son's head was halfway out while waiting for the elevator and I had my son in the triage room all natural with one of my crocs still on lol. Throughout my labor and birth, everything Khakmah told me echoed through my head including breathing techniques and listening to my body and allowing it to do what it is naturally supposed to do. Instead of panicking (especially when the nurse told me not to push while on the way to triage) I focused on my breathing and kept in mind that as much as they or I might not want me to push, my body will bear down for me so I put everything else out of my head and focused on breathing and relaxing the best I could. This was my first time giving birth anywhere other than UNC Chapel Hill, not having an epidural, and not having a support person with me. I credit God and Khakmah for getting me through it because I most certainly would not have without them. The fact that I not only did it, but did it with a smile on my face (and a couple screams lol) makes it my proudest moment."
